Journey

ABOUT FOUNDER

Yoga is her lifestyle. She started her career as a graphic designer. Later she met with a major accident and got many injuries, where she realized health is the only wealth we have. Ayushi always loved to help people around physically and mentally (emotionally). Therefore, she decided to be in the fitness industry anyhow. Once you decide something you get the way through it. Doctor recommended her for surgery and she was never up for that. She had a belief in some alternative but never knew that she would heal through a few lifestyle change, physiotherapy and yoga.

Yogini Ayushi Sharma

” Asana is just a drop in the ocean of yoga life. One should achieve many things to live a happy, healthy and balanced life. Which include physical and emotional balance. Understanding yourself and after all the practices having the feel of ecstasy within. “

FAQ

If you have any questions not answered here, please do not hesitate to get in touch. No question is silly!

When it comes to food and digestion, each individual is different and needs to find out what works for them. In general I do not recommend a eating a large meal within 2 hours of a class – if you must eat within 2 hours of a class then a light meal or snack that it easily digested is best. Its recommended to be hydrated before a class so drink little water.

Ideally, please arrive a few minutes before the class starts. But things happen, and sometimes people are late, I totally understand. If you can let me know beforehand, but if not please still come to class, and just quietly enter the class in case of group online/offline session so as not to disturb others. Anytime you arrive is fine in online Group class. (even just for relaxation at the end!).
To pay for classes please contact me & my team on whatsapp or email, and you can make a direct transfer, NEFT, pay with UPI, online transfers.
It takes a few classes to start to feel the benefits and make yoga part of your life. There are limited slots availability so it is necessary to book a place. If you miss a class you may be able to attend another one in the same block, or we may be able to carry it over to the next one Contact me to discuss this.
Unlike stretching or other fitness training, yoga is more than just physically working your body. Within the physical practice of yoga we connect the movement of the body to the rhythm of our breath, which helps to focus and relax the mind by directing our attention inward. Yoga can improve your bodies strength, flexibilty and balance, whilst also calming your mind and improving your posture and how you breath.
We offer various yoga classes in our yoga retreats: a morning hatha yoga class which is dynamic in nature, and a heavenly restorative Yin yoga & Yoga therapy class in the evening with a longer relaxation. Both classes are suitable for all levels.
Yes, beginners can join. We have all yoga levels from beginners to advanced, and our teachers will modify the classes so you can practice at your own pace.
There are normally 10-15 people on each yoga retreat. This can vary slightly by retreat and by date, but we tend to limit the number to 16 people.
People join us from all over the world. We welcome solo travelers – on average about half of the people on our yoga retreats come on their own. As well as couples, friends, siblings – everyone is welcome, and we normally have a variety of ages from 30s all the way to 50s and at times 60s! We’ll plan group dinners and day trips for those who want to join, but also respect people’s space if you need some alone-time, it’s all part of the yoga holiday.
We have many people joining our yoga retreats on their own – our solo guests enjoy double room all to themselves and don’t need to share a room.
We’d be happy to arrange this, although most people joining us on their own seem to like their own room. We normally put people in a shared room if they’re traveling together and request it specifically – friends, siblings, couples etc. However, if we do get requests from two people traveling on their own who would like to share, we can put you two in a shared room. Please contact us if this is your preference.
Yes, you can come with someone who won’t be practicing yoga asana and related practices, the price would be less for that person, please contact us for details.
Due to Covid health and safety measures, unfortunately we’re no longer able to provide yoga mats for our yogis on retreat. Please bring your own yoga mat and feel free to bring anything else you may need for your yoga practice, such as a block and a strap.

Plan to arrive at some point on the first day of the retreat before opening ceremony.

We’ll have a group brunch/dinner first day to meet everyone, and activities will start the next morning. The last class will be in the morning the last day of the retreat, and people will leave at some point on the depending on flights. check-out is usually around 12noon, but you can stay at the hotel and use the facilities, pool, beach and spa as per the terms and condition if you have a later flight.

Yes, if you’d like to arrive earlier or stay a few days extra, we can arrange that for you with the hotel. Please contact us to let us know.
Yes! In fact you are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible. This newfound agility will be balanced by strength, coordination as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.
Yes, absolutely. There is no assumed level of fitness required for the yoga classes and workshops I teach. You could be a couch potato or an athlete, yoga can benefit everyone. Yoga can help you gain a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.
Just bring yourself, in appropriate clothing (see below), and maybe bring a small bottle of water & a towel.
Some people wear baggy, loose fitting bottoms or shorts and a t shirt. Other people wear tight, stretchy leggings + tops. The only thing that matters is that you wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move and stretch in. It’s good to have clothes that keep you cool when you are active in yoga, but to bring a jumper for relaxation, when the body rapidly cools down. Some people also bring socks and a jumper (maybe even a small blanket) for the relaxation.
Your own mat is a great idea, they are available from lots of places and I also have ones you can buy like the ones we use in class.
